Celebrating Entrepreneurship

Babson has a long history of celebrating Entrepreneurship of All Kinds™ starting with the Student Business of the Year Award in 1959, followed by The Academy of Distinguished in 1978 and business plan competitions in the 1980s.

More recently, The Alumni Entrepreneur Hall of Fame was established in 2008 during the Inauguration of President Schlesinger. In 2009, the annual business plan competitions were expanded to a two day event celebrating entrepreneurship thought and action with The Creative Thinking Prize and the Student Business of the Year Award.
