Schedule and Deadlines
Babson undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni will compete cash prizes, plus donations of in-kind services from corporate sponsors, in the 2024 B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®) Challenge. Prospective students are invited to witness the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit during the semifinal and final events.

B.E.T.A. Challenge Info Sessions
January 26, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET
Faculty sponsor deadline (undergraduate and graduate applicants only) – faculty sponsor information must be successfully entered through the submission site. This is optional for alumni applicants. For more information, please view Eligibility & Guidelines and Faculty Sponsor Responsibilities.
February 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET
Application deadline – files (executive summary and slide deck) must be successfully uploaded through the submission site. A confirmation from the submission site must be received in order for the submission to be considered for the B.E.T.A. Challenge. February 9 - February 23, 2024
Alumni evaluators review and score applications online. The numeric scores from all evaluators will then be tabulated and the top applicants in the undergraduate, graduate, and alumni tracks will be selected based on the highest average score.
March 1 - 8, 2024
Faculty review of the top applicants in the undergraduate, graduate and alumni tracks will take place, and they will be narrowed down to the top six semifinalists in each track.
March 18, 2024
Semifinalists will be notified.
March 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET
Semifinalists deadline – semifinalists will be required to submit a one page update document. Guidelines will be provided by The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. All materials must be submitted to the Blank Center team at blankcenter@babson.edu by 11 a.m. EST (no exceptions made).
March 27, 2024, Time TBD
Semifinalists will compete in the semifinal event with a panel of faculty judges. Judges will determine the three finalists from each track who will present in the finale.
March 29, 2024
Finalists will be notified.
April 11, 2024, Time TBD
B.E.T.A. Challenge Finale – Finalists will pitch to a panel of judges and answer Q&A.
