Schedules and Deadlines
Babson graduate students, undergraduate students and alumni will compete for $75,000 in cash prizes plus "services in kind" donations from corporate sponsors in the 2013 B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought and Action®) Challenge.
Applicants will compete for prizes by demonstrating success in achieving major milestones through taking action.

Business Registration & Submission deadline – 2 documents (executive summary and slide deck) must be successfully uploaded through the submission site. A confirmation from the submission site must be received in order for the submission to be considered for the B.E.T.A. Challenge. For more information, please view “Eligibility & Guidelines.”
March 7-21, 2013
Alumni evaluators review and score submitted materials on-line. Several groups of 10-12 Babson College alumni evaluators will review each submission, and assign a numeric score to each. The numeric scores from all evaluators will then be tabulated and six semifinalists at the graduate, undergraduate and alumni levels will be selected based on the highest average score.

Semifinalists deadline – all semi-finalists materials due: signed audio visual release form, update document and completed questionnaire provided by the Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship. All materials must be submitted to Antonette Ho at aho1@babson.edu by 5pm EST (no exceptions made)

Venture Expo (B.E.T.A. Challenge Semifinals) at 4:30pm EST – Semifinalists will be given an opportunity to interact with community members. Each semifinalist will get a “booth” to use at their own discretion. Community members will be able to vote which company they would like to see participate in the finalist round. Semifinalists will deliver a 60 second elevator pitch to a panel of judges. Judges will determine the 3 finalists at the graduate, undergraduate and alumni levels who will present at the finals on Thursday, April 11, 2013.

B.E.T.A. Challenge Finals - Finalists presentations to panel of judges - judges will determine the winner of the competitions. All finalists will present a 60-second pitch at the awards celebration where the winners will be announced.
