Forums and Activities
Social Innovation Open Houses: These open dialogues give Babson students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to ask questions, network, and connect with fellow social innovators. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of The Lewis Institute, Babson Social Innovation Lab, and Food Sol. These are designed to be drop in, informal conversations, so please feel free to join us at any point during the timeslot. For Fall 2011, we will host three brown bag lunches in Horn Library, Room 318 as well as two conference calls so that the entire Babson community, both on campus and off, can participate.
From Day One: The event will turn Babson campus into a marketplace of social innovation. Creating economic and social value is serious business at Babson, and providing expertise, resources, ideas, and entertainment around making a difference is the focus of this day!
Webinar Series: The Lewis Institute and Net Impact have teamed up to create the Learning from Leaders Webinar Series. These webinars allow graduate students to gain direct access to leading companies and nonprofits and glean insights on aligning profit and purpose. Some of our past webinars include:
David Wood of The Initiative for Responsible Investment
Faculty Forum: Babson and Ashoka invite you to a convening which will provide a rich, supportive thinking space with like-minded academics to collectively explore the future of social innovation education. The two days will address what it means to be faculty catalyzing change in institutions that are changing all around us.
