IMA Education Case Journal. Appointed to the IMA Global Board of Directors
after serving one year on the ICMA Board of Regents, term started July 1.

2012
Janice Bell is serving as the guest editor of a special edition of the Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change which will be published in June 2012 and will contain the best papers from the GAOC Conference 2010.
Eli C. Bortman presented at a workshop put on by the Boston University History Department for History and Social Studies teachers in the Boston Public Schools. The topic was how politics and prejudice could affect a criminal trial, specifically the Sacco and Vanzetti case.
Janice Bell served as a Coach for ALPFA student case
competition team, competition sponsored by KPMG, held in August, 2012.
Cristiano Busco has been selected as guest editor of a special issue of Management Accounting Research on “Inter-organizational relationships involving public administrations: the role of management control Systems”. The special issue will be published in December 2011. Professor Buscos is also a guest editor of a special issue of the Journal of Management and Governance on “innovating management and accounting practices”. The special issue will be published in 2012.

Cheryl Kirschner assisted Professor Elizabeth Swanson Goldberg, Associate Professor, English this summer during Babson's 3-week offshore course in South Africa. Thirteen students, graduate and undergraduate, teamed up with students from Stellenbosch University to teach aspiring teenage entrepreneurs from poor townships the basics of starting a successful business.
