Beth Humberd is an adjunct lecturer in the Management Division at Babson College and serves as an alumna-in-residence at Babson’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL). Beth also teaches in the Management and Organization department at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where she is a Ph.D. candidate.
Beth conducts research in the areas of gender and diversity at work, identity management, leadership development, and relationships at work. She has published work in the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Organizational Psychology Review, and the Academy of Management Best Papers Proceedings, and her research has received several awards and honors at the regional and national Academy of Management conferences. She has also co-authored research studies published by Boston College’s Center for Work and Family.
Prior to her academic career, Beth worked at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Boston Scientific Corporation, holding various roles within Finance and Human Resources. She holds a B.S. from Babson College, an M.B.A. from Bentley University, and an M.S. in Organization Studies from Boston College. She and her husband live in Marblehead with their young son and a boxer.
