Ms. Abramoff has over 25 years of experience as an instructor of Japanese, having taught at Assumption College, Northeastern University, and Brandeis University prior to Babson. She received the Deans Award in Recognition of Excellence in Teaching at Babson College in 2014, an appreciation award from the Japanese class of 1991 at Babson, and the Outstanding Teacher Award from Assumption College in 1988.  

Ms. Abramoff is also a member of ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) and was recognized as a contributor and OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) tester at the Council's meeting in November 1996.  She has authored "Speak and Learn Japanese, I, II, III, and IV", an audio program for self-instruction by Simon and Schuster. She’s been an editor of other languages on the series of “Speak and Learn”, including French, Korean, Mandarin, and five levels of ESL (English as a Second Language).​​​​​​​
