Ismael G. Dambolena

Dr. Dambolena has broad international experience as management consultant and operations research analyst for companies in Argentina, Paraguay, and the United States. He was a research associate at the Technical University in Munich and an international expert for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. He was also a visiting professor at the University of Erlaugen-Nuremberg in Germany, IBM's International Education Centers in Belgium, the University of Ife in Nigeria, and the Universidad Nacional del Sur in Argentina.

Dr. Dambolena has done extensive work on the prediction of corporate failures and the uses of computer simulation. His articles have appeared in the Journal of Finance, Omega, the Financial Analysts Journal, Data Base, the Journal of Cash Management, the Journal of Innovative Management, the Center for Quality Management Journal, Mathematics and Computer Education, and other journals. Currently, his main professional interests are in quality management and the use of statistical tools for quality improvement. Areas of expertise include Total Quality Management, Applied Statistics and Quantitative Methods. He is co-author of Total Quality Management: A Cross-Functional Perspective, a Wiley book.
