William Ebsworth

Bio

Bill Ebsworth teaches Personal Financial Management in the graduate level and has served as an Executive in Residence with the Babson College Fund. In 2015, Bill was selected to be a Fellow in Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative. ​In addition to Babson and Harvard, Bill serves on the boards of the Wells Fargo Funds, Forte' Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital's Vincent Memorial Endowment. After earning a BA from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Bill joined Fidelity Investments in 1984 where he worked in Boston, Tokyo, and Hong Kong​ as an analyst, portfolio manager, research director, and chief investment officer until his retirement in 2013. In addition to volunteering in his community, Bill has served on the boards of Hong Kong Securities Clearing Corp., Hong Kong Options Clearing Corp., the Thailand International Fund, Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company, and Empire Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company. ​​​​
