Adjunct Professor, Finance


After 3 decades working as an equities analyst, portfolio manager, research director, and chief investment officer in Boston, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, Bill Ebsworth retired from Fidelity Investments in 2013.  In addition to volunteering in his community, Bill has served on the boards of Hong Kong Securities Clearing Corp, Hong Kong Options Clearing Corp., the Thailand International Fund, Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company, and Empire Fidelity Investments Life Insurance Company.  He earned a BA from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  Recently he was selected to be a 2015 Fellow in Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative.  At Babson, in addition to teaching Personal Financial Management, Bill serves as an Executive In Residence with the Babson College Fund.
