Zachary Hanzel-Snider

Lecturer in Rhetoric

 

Dr. Snider holds a Ph.D. in Postmodern Literature and Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University. Before coming to Babson, he taught literature, composition, creative writing, and business writing courses for New York University and Manhattan College. Samples of Dr. Snider’s disparate research publications include: "The Macbeth Dance: Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More Experience” in Locating Shakespeare in the 21st Century, “Big Bucks & Fake Tears: Celebrity Journalism’s Hyperreality” in The Business of Entertainment, and “Erotic Pleasures of Danger Foods” in Food Theory in Pre/Text: A Journal of Rhetorical Theory. Prior to academia, Dr. Snider wrote for theater and film magazines, and he was also a television entertainment news writer-producer, working on location in NYC, London, and Los Angeles.
