Babson Faculty Research Fund Proposal Process
Faculty Research Fund Academic Year 2018-2019
Proposal Deadine: Wednesday, January 24th, 2018
The Babson Faculty Research Fund will be accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year Course Releases and 2018 Summer Stipends to support faculty research projects via online portal: BFRF Portal. See updated eligibility and funding criteria in the Babson Inernal Funding Application below. If you have any questions, please contact Sandra Castaldini (x5339) or any of the BFRF committee members.
Each year the Babson Faculty Research Fund (BFRF) provides Course Releases, Summer Stipends, and funds for research-related expenses to faculty members on a competitive, peer-review basis. The BFRF will issue a call for proposals and related deadlines once during the academic year. Throughout the year, the BFRF accepts mini-grant applications for research-related expenses and makes awards as funds allow.
The BFRF aims to keep the proposal process as simple as possible. Certain guidelines are necessary to ensure that projects are brought to completion a 'Return on research investment' for the College.
The BFRF is here to serve faculty in all stages of research activities:
- Pre-proposal discussions about funding options
- Application preparation
- Resolution of cases where award recipients need to modify their contractual output
This site provides the information needed to apply for BFRF research support. If you have any questions or comments on the application process, please contact the BFRF coordinator, Sandra Castaldini, 781-239-5339, or any of the committee members.
