54 participants from 12 countries around the world have come to Babson this week to participate in the 31st offering of the Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Educators (Price-Babson SEE). This flagship program provides an intensive 4-day experience on the process and practice of teaching and learning entrepreneurship.
During the four-day Price-Babson SEE, participants:
• Explore the entrepreneurship method, the “art and craft” of teaching and learning entrepreneurship
• Are introduced to the powerful method of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action®
• Experience cutting-edge teaching methods for developing the next generation of entrepreneurs
“At the heart of the Price-Babson SEE program is a belief that entrepreneurship is the most powerful force on the planet for creating economic and social value,” said Heidi M. Neck, the Jeffry A. Timmons Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies at Babson College. “We believe that teaching effectiveness can be learned and must forever improve. Our goal is to build an international cadre of educators who understand the importance of combining entrepreneurship theory and practice in teaching.”
For the current offering of the program, participants came from 12 countries including Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, South Korea, Mexico, Spain, United States, Morocco, and the United Kingdom.
Cross-disciplinary educators and entrepreneurs from around the world are invited to attend Price-Babson SEE. The program is designed for academics or entrepreneurs who teach or have a desire to teach entrepreneurship. Participants are encouraged to register as a team of one academic and one entrepreneur or a team of two academics because the intersection of theory and practice enhances the education experience.
