Babson College Ranked Top School for Entrepreneurship, Beating Stanford, Harvard, MIT, And Yale

LinkedIn Profile Service has rated Babson College the top school for entrepreneurship based on skill endorsements

Independent company LinkedIn Profile Service has rated Babson College the top school for entrepreneurship, based on the number of entrepreneurship and startup skill endorsements of the Babson alumni community. Skill endorsements allow LinkedIn members to recognize the skills and expertise of their connections.

Researching the number of endorsements for the skills “entrepreneurship” and “start-ups” among college alumni on LinkedIn, LinkedIn Profile Service tested to see which U.S. University rated at the top. Recognizing that Babson is consistently ranked one of the top schools for entrepreneurship with both U.S. News and Princeton Review/Entrepreneur Magazine giving it top honors, it ranked Babson against ten familiar names for creating entrepreneurs, such as Stanford, Harvard, USC, MIT, CMU, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Yale and the University of Houston. According to LinkedIn Profile Service, Babson and Stanford are the top two universities for number of alumni with endorsed entrepreneurship and start-up skills. When focused on the skill “entrepreneurship” alone, Babson scores a 5.6% while Stanford only registers a 4.8%.

“It’s a strong testimonial that Babson… can beat the Ivy League and other prestigious universities,” writes LinkedIn Profile Service. “This validates the research by Princeton Review/Entrepreneur Magazine and U.S. News which ranked Babson #1."
