College Celebrates U.N.s Principles Of Responsible Management Education February 9

Babson Professor Elizabeth Swanson Goldberg accepted an award on behalf of Babson that honors the College as a signatory of the UN’s Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) and for its placement on the Global Corporate Citizenship Honor Roll, at the 12th Annual UN Day Luncheon held by the UN Association, Greater Boston chapter (UNA-GB).

Nearly 200 business leaders, diplomats, academic administrators, members, students and friends were on hand to honor the awardees, promote UNA-GB’s core mission: building a grassroots network of global citizens, and to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the U.N.’s success promoting peace and prosperity.
To celebrate its Global Corporate Citizenship Honor Roll distinction and PRME, Babson will host a reception in the Babson Hall Writing Center on Thursday, February 9, 3:30-4:30 p.m. where a sustainable artwork created by faculty, staff and students during its “30 Days of PRME” last fall, will be unveiled and placed on permanent display.
