Babson’s Graduate and Undergraduate Centers for Career Development will host The Internship Program Best Practices Workshop on Dec. 13th to 40+ company recruiters.
Intern Bridge will deliver the workshop designed to facilitate communications with employer partners as a way to share best practices and learn ways to maximize internship program opportunities to best serve student populations.
Founded by Richard Bottner ‘07, the company’s president, Intern Bridge is a national recruiting and consulting research firm that surveys over 25,000 students to capture trends in internship and recruiting experiences. This data is then used to help recruiters shape meaningful internships and assist college career centers in better serving their students.
“Landing an internship in today’s economy is key to gaining an advantage for future employment,” says Cheri Paulson, Director of Babson’s Graduate Center for Career Development. “And in a challenging economy, our MBA students, skilled in Babson’s unique method of Entrepreneurial Thought And Action®, are a perfect fit for employers who need critical tasks to be completed but don’t have the full time staff to accomplish these projects,” notes Paulson.
