New "Give a Year" Partnership Open to City Year Corps Members, Alumni, and Staff
Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business has partnered with City Year ─ a national, education-focused organization that unites young people for a year of service in high-need schools. The partnership will award 25% yearly tuition scholarships to select City Year corps members, alumni, and staff who enroll in one of Babson’s top-ranked full-time MBA programs, or the College’s new Master of Science in Management in Entrepreneurial Leadership program.
Each of the graduate programs is grounded in Babson’s unique application of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® that inspires analytic thinking, creativity, and ethical business practices by turning ideas into action.
"Our partnership with City Year highlights the shared vision and values of both organizations to cultivate the power of knowledge and service in addressing social problems,” said Babson College President Kerry Healey. "Babson is committed to creating economic and social value everywhere, and we’re excited to offer these scholarship opportunities to the City Year community."
"We are extremely proud to partner with Babson, a learning community world-renowned for social entrepreneurship," shared Sean McDevitt, Senior Director of Alumni & Career Services with City Year. "Babson and City Year are both committed to developing leaders who are ready to tackle complex societal challenges. As alumni of both institutions, these motivated leaders will be uniquely prepared, through their teamwork skills, business acumen, and passion, to influence positive change and continue to be a force for social good."
