Dr. Kerry Healey begins her term as President of Babson College
Dr. Kerry Healey begins her term as President of Babson College today. President Healey, former Lt. Governor of Massachusetts and leading advocate for the expansion of women’s rights and higher education in Afghanistan, was selected to be the first woman to lead the College by a vote in March of the Babson College Board of Trustees.
Additional leadership changes effective today include:
- Dennis Hanno is Provost and Senior Vice President. He most recently held the position as Murata Dean of the Graduate School, and Vice Provost, and previously as Dean of the Undergraduate School.
- Shahid Ansari is CEO of Babson Global, leading Babson’s efforts to build and strengthen these valuable and opportunity-rich global relationships. Previously he had served at Provost, holding the post for nearly five years.
- Scott Moore is Dean of the Undergraduate School. He comes to Babson from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, where he held the Arthur F. Thurnau Professorship – the university’s highest recognition for outstanding contributions to undergraduate teaching. He served as the Bachelor of Business Administration Faculty Program Director from 2004-2011 at the Ross School.
