LGBTQ+

lesbian | gay | bisexual | transgender | queer | questioning | and diverse gender identities and sexual orientations

Babson has a rich and supportive community where students, faculty, staff and alumni work to ensure that we are a community of inclusion, where LGBTQ+ individuals feel welcomed, affirmed, and supported.

On-campus events provide opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community to be represented and to connect, advocate, and celebrate. Some recent events include:

LGBTQ+ Welcome Reception

Held the first week of classes every fall to welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

LGBTQ+ History Month

On- and off-campus programs and events held each October organized by and for students, faculty, alumni, and staff.

Lavender Graduation

An end-of-the-school-year celebration honoring and recognizing LGBTQ+ and allied students’ achievements and contributions to the Babson community.

Alongside campus events, there are many opportunities to engage with the off-campus community as well through such events as the annual Boston Pride Parade and Bayard Rustin Community Breakfast, and more.

In addition, Babson provides support services and resources on campus and can connect students with external resources as needed.
