Course Listings

Review the graduate course listings for current academic year »

Please note when reviewing course listings:

  • Review Eligibility Requirements for courses prior to submitting an application.
  • Please note that all initial placements for spring and summer session courses are done in late-October. If you receive a notice of placement at that time you must commit or decline the placement within the acceptance period. Hence, it is very important that you only choose to apply to the course that you are ready and willing to accept a placement.
  • Select ONLY the course(s) you are willing to commit to—applying to courses that you are not ready or able to commit to, may take away the opportunity for another student.
  • Placements for the initial and rolling admission placements will be done according to timeline above.

Application Requirements

The Elective Abroad application will ask that you confirm or commit to the following:
  1. Pre-Travel Academic Sessions Schedule: These courses require attendance at all pre-travel meetings (usually two). Be sure to check these dates against your academic, work, and personal calendars and clear any conflicts. The course application will ask you to confirm you have completed this exercise.
  2. Eligibility Requirements: Some courses have prerequisite coursework. All courses require you to have completed a specific level of coursework before you can TRAVEL on the program. Check with your graduate school program manager if you have questions about your eligibility for a course. The application will ask that you confirm you will have met these requirements by the start of the course.
  3. Placement Requirements: Course placements are made in the order the applications are received. Following the online application close date, you will be notified via your Babson email regarding the status of your application. If you are accepted onto a course you will be given a deadline and instructions for committing to that course. This includes a $500 nonrefundable deposit. The application will ask that you acknowledge and understand this process and will follow the instructions and timeline provided to you.
