Program Cost Structure

Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Year, Semester, and Summer Abroad Cost Structure

  • Under our home school tuition model, all students studying abroad for an academic year, semester, or summer abroad are billed Babson tuition for the term they are abroad.
  • All other nontuition costs (housing, meals, etc.) are paid by the student directly to the host program.
  • Total cost of attendance varies by program. Please contact your Education Abroad advisor for program specific cost information.

Creating a Budget

Estimated budgets to guide your personal spending and overall cost of the program can be found on the program specific page. Use this estimated budget as a guide, but also utilize your knowledge of your spending habits to make appropriate adjustments to this number. The financial aid office will make awards (or adjustments) based on this budget.

Undergraduate Electives Abroad Cost Structure

  • Undergraduate programs are 4 tuition credits.
  • For Fall and Spring courses, Babson charges flat-rate tuition for credit loads up to and including 20 credits.
  • For Winter and Summer courses, Babson charges a per-credit tuition rate (4 tuition credits). Information about the tuition policy and credit-load adjustments can be obtained through the Office of Academic Services.

Program fees

  • Program fees are paid directly to the Glavin Office. This is in addition to your tuition cost.

  • Accepted students will be required to complete, sign, and submit a Program Fee Payment Agreement (Sample Program Fee Agreement).
