What Words Have Changed Your Life?

“If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original.” —Sir Ken Robinson, TED Talk

How Do You Want to Change the World?

I want to create something that can be held to the highest standard and inspires people to think differently. I want to push the envelope of what is deemed possible and in doing so encourage others to do the same. Conventional thinking is that there is a single “pie” to compete in; I want to make new pies.

Why Does the World Need More Leaders with an Entrepreneurial Mindset?

The world doesn’t need more products and services, it needs better products and services. There are those who create things, improve on past thought, and subsequently expand our collective thinking, and there are those who follow the status quo. Entrepreneurial thinkers change things and push humanity forward.

What Is Your Proudest Moment in Business?

Being the youngest professional attendee of Outdoor Retailer, the largest trade show in the outdoor industry, and having a meeting with the vice president of global marketing for a large outdoor brand who said he was impressed by our vision, thought we were on to something, and wanted to get his company involved.

What Do Others Need to Know about Babson?

There are always stereotypes about academic institutions and the students who attend them, but I would say Babson is pretty atypical and more often than not breaks the mold. One of the first things I noticed when visiting Babson as a prospective student is how articulate students were about what they were passionate about and how it related to all sorts of other things. The Babson community is made up of relators who have this extraordinary capacity to collaborate and are incredibly driven to get where their vision points them to.

How Do You Define Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is the vision, persistence, and ability to make a big impact with limited resources in an area that you care about. It is a mindset that doesn’t get weighed down by the challenges ahead and makes the most of every opportunity.
