Why I Chose Babson

I chose Babson because it had the most opportunities I could take advantage of, and I was able to begin pursuing those opportunities before I started classes. I know my future will be determined by the people I surround myself with, which is why I am confident that a Babson education is an investment that will pay for itself many times over.

How Babson Has Impacted My Career Development

Babson alumni are happy to give advice and help you out, and the alumni connections I made last summer have already allowed me to get an internship at Mount Dream (founded by Michael Markarian ’09) and a job as a customer acquisition sales manager for Think Board (founded by Hanson Grant ’16).

I’ve also only been at Babson for a semester, but I’m already learning the importance of being flexible and spontaneous. For example, I made last-minute decisions to go to two conferences, and they ended up being some of the highlights of the semester. I was able to hear from and meet with many industry experts and CEOs, and I even was pulled on stage at the Boston Convention Center in front of over 19,000 people!

What Others Need to Know About Babson

There’s an atmosphere at Babson that encourages you to explore outside of your comfort zone and meet new people. I’m already gaining a more well-rounded global perspective thanks to interactions I have had within our extremely diverse student body. Before I came here, I really wasn’t exposed to many different cultures, so I’ve gone out of my way to understand the experiences of my international peers and how they compare to living in the United States.
