What is your pre-Babson experience?
Before coming to Babson, I attended the University of Tsukuba and worked at Yamaha Motor Corporation as a supervisor in the motorcycle marketing division for the Central and South America markets.
Why did you choose Babson for your graduate education?
The motorcycle industry has been shrinking; as a result, our company started to create new business in Yamaha. I wanted to join that new, related division while working to start a new business. Babson was the best choice for me—I would develop an entrepreneurial mindset and form connections with students and alumni from all over the world.
What are your career goals?
My ambition is to work to start a new business in Yamaha. Babson is teaching me how to act, think, and work with such an unclear business condition.
As a Babson student, what do you do when not in class?
I am joining the tech club and the marketing club. Through these activities, I would like to learn new technology knowledge and make connections that may help in my future businesses and endeavors.
What was your favorite part of the Babson student experience?
Babson’s faculty are really helpful, doing whatever they can to support students. I sometimes have difficulties in my accounting or finance coursework, but the faculty (and the students) are always willing to help me. It’s just how Babson's community works—it’s our culture.
