My goal is to help better educate individuals and institutions on how to save for their retirement. As the system in the United States has shifted from a DB (defined benefit) to DC (defined contribution) model, the retirement burden has shifted to the individual away from their employer. Employees need to learn how to save on their own, and I am passionate about helping.

Leaders usually have diverse skill sets, but having an entrepreneurial mindset is critical, as businesses are constantly evolving and changing. It’s important to be able to keep up with technology, social media, and other unknown factors, so having the ability to adapt is critical for success.
What Is Your Proudest Moment in Business?
I started at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in early 2011 in a sales role, and my previous background was primarily in investment research and product management at Fidelity Investments. My first big win of my career occurred in early 2014 and was definitely my proudest moment, as I realized how much hard work and perseverance it takes to close a deal.
What Do Others Need to Know about Babson?
Babson taught me how to look at every situation through multiple lenses, and that there’s not always one answer or solution. We studied many successful entrepreneurs and each one of them became successful for different reasons.

The ability to create, adapt, and survive through many difficult environments. Create a product or service that differentiates itself from competitors, that has a moat around it.
