Projects through Collaboration

Collaboration is the key to successful sustainability projects.

Bottle-Filling Stations

The Bottle-Filling Stations across Babson were installed through the joint efforts of Facilities Management, Purchasing, and the Sustainability Office.

Community Supported Agriculture

The community supported agriculture group at Babson is jointly managed by the Sustainability Office and the staff member that initially suggested the program.

Slash the Trash

The annual Slash the Trash program is a joint initiative of Facilities Management, Residence Life, and the Sustainability Office. The project was originally created by the Eco Reps.

Babson Unplugged

Every winter break, Babson Unplugged encourages faculty, staff, and students to be unplugged at Babson. This means unplugging appliances, closing windows, and turning thermostats down. Babson Unplugged started as a collaboration between Facilities Management, Residential Life, and the Sustainability Office. Since then, it has expanded to include Human Resources in support of faculty and staff getting unplugged during the break.
