Staff & Faculty Programs & Opportunities
Staff Eco Leaders
This program had its debut in Fall 2010. Key staff and faculty members from different departments around campus are coming together to strategize sustainability for their offices. Each year, Eco Leaders members will work together on a project to enhance sustainability in the Babson workplace. Contact email@example.com to find out more or to join this group.
The Lewis Institute runs many initiatives aimed at engaging and connecting staff and faculty to sustainability opportunities, such as:
- sponsoring faculty to perform research on social entrepreneurship
- providing awards and recognition for staff, students and faculty working on social entrepreneurship and sustainability
- Making social entrepreneurship visible by inviting social entrepreneurs to Babson as speakers, teachers and workshop facilitators
Initiated by two faculty members, two 4'x8' raised garden beds are maintained by faculty, staff, and students. Herbs, vegetables, and fruits are grown in the garden. It is located in between the Reynolds and Hollister buildings. Contact Danielle Krcmar
for more information.
