One of the most well-known? Rocket Pitch. The competition, celebrating its 21st year, let’s you pitch to the Babson community—in three minutes using only three slides.
Choose from multiple opportunities to consult with company leaders. A key component of every Babson MBA, the Babson Consulting Experience (BCE) lets you work with leading executives to solve an actual business need. MBA students also have an opportunity to consult through the Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE), an elective course allowing you to work with organizations as diverse as Puma and the Red Sox to address a business challenge.
Several programs offer you the chance to take your electives abroad in short-term formats. Travel to Portugal to support a global client (Lisbon, Portugal), explore the competitive and strategic dimensions of companies doing business in the European Union (Milan, Italy), or compete in a one-week design challenge to tackle a relevant problem for the Swedish government and local businesses (Stockholm, Sweden).
Beating the S&P 500 consistently for 20 years, the Babson College Fund (BCF) lets you manage a $3 million portion of the College’s endowment. The program provides a rich educational experience through the development of investment research skills and the acquisition of portfolio management experience—highly valued by employers in the investments industry.

In the wake of the pandemic, a five-person MBA team worked with the C-suite at Shipt, a Target-owned delivery service, to help advance its focus on long-term strategy while day-to-day efforts took overwhelming priority for the company.
Babson’s WIN Lab went global for the first time in program history with the help of alumnus and leader of SMART Liberia, Marvin Tarawally ’17. As part of a new initiative, WIN Lab staff and alumni are participating in a collaboration that pairs train-the-trainer curriculum with hands-on coaching to support women fellows in SMART Liberia’s local startup accelerator.
Each week, select Babson College students find themselves pitching a stock to their classmates, portfolio managers, and some well-known chief investment officers, who serve as Executives in Residence (EIRs) for the program.
Meet the graduate, undergraduate, and alumni winners of the 2020 B.E.T.A. (Babson Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®) Challenge. More than $350,000 in cash and in-kind prizes was awarded. The three winning ventures each won a grand prize of $20,000 plus “services-in-kind” donations from corporate sponsors.
