UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION FELLOWS

Each year, the Office of Undergraduate Admission selects several student leaders to share their experiences with prospective students.

These students conduct interviews, participate in information sessions, and answer questions from prospective students and families. Get to know our admission fellows below.

NiaChloe Bowman

Class of 2021

Hometown: Brooklyn, New York
Academic Interests: Data Analytics
Clubs/Activities: Babson Dance Ensemble, Care Week Coordinator, Honors Student
Why Babson: Babson has an amazing mixture of entreprenuerial innovation, creative expression and cultural diversity. I love that I can hear different languages on my way to class and be surrounded around people willing to make a difference in the world. I choose Babson because I knew I would learn that there is more to business than just business--Babson has been able to expand more on what this looks like each and every day. 
Fun Fact: Corbin Bleu and other cast members from Jump In came to my double dutch team's gym to learn how to jump!

Abi Cohen

Class of 2019

Clubs/Activities: CWEL Scholar, Chi Omega Fraternity, Babson Women's Club Ice Hockey Team, Habitat for Humanity
Why Babson: I chose Babson for its stellar business program, successful alumni, and entrepreneurial spirit. I was excited to be in a place that valued hands-on learning in small classes where professors and students were constantly fostering strong relationships.
Fun Fact: I love to travel and have been to 38 countries thus far! I also have dual-citizenship. 

Lissy Harris

Why Babson: Babson has felt like a second home to me even from my first time on campus over three years ago. Not only is Babson a stellar business school, but I also feel supported through my endeavors from my peers, professors, and other staff members. I have connected with peers who have similar values as me, and they are always inspiring me to do better. 
Fun Fact: I beat my sister in Fear Factor Live! at Universal Studios in Orlando.

Amanda Kastner

Why Babson: I chose Babson for its unique program and tight-knit community. I was drawn to the supportive, collaborative environment that comes from the small class sizes and the ability to take classes with a hands-on approach throughout all four years.
Fun Fact: I went skydiving in Interlaken while I was studying abroad last fall!

Kat Markmann

Why Babson: After attending a large university my first year of college, I realized I would be more comfortable and successful at an institution with a strong sense of community that fosters strong relationships - both personal and professional. This is the main reason I transferred to Babson and have loved my time here so far!
Fun Fact: I went to high school down the road from Babson's main Wellesley campus!

Why Babson: My mother first introduced me to Babson. She went to Wellesley for undergrad, and explained how unique the curriculum was here. After visiting and doing my own research, I knew that this was the place for me. It had all of the resources and courses I was looking for in a college, including experienced staff who integrate real-world applications in class to foster a tangible learning environment.
Fun Fact: I lived in the U.A.E. for seven years before moving to the U.S. in seventh grade.

Leigh Singer

Why Babson: I chose Babson because I knew that I would graduate with four years of business skill and practice, as well as a strong foundation in public speaking, writing, and teamwork. Babson students are incredibly passionate about all that they do, and I've learned more from my professors (industry leaders) and classmates (entrepreneurs and inspirations) than I could've ever imagined.
Fun Fact: I've been to a workout camp in northern Thailand, taught by a former Australian Special Forces trainer.

Eva St. Cyr

Why Babson: After my first visit, I knew Babson was the place I wanted to call home for my four years of college. The tight-knit, inclusive student body is like a family; everyone supports each other. Being a business focused school, I love Babson’s unique curriculum where experiential learning and collaboration is integrated throughout all four years. The overall atmosphere at Babson fosters growth, knowledge, and innovation all on a beautiful New England campus!
Fun Fact: When I was younger, I was the water girl for the Northeastern Football Team (when they still had football).

Why Babson: I chose Babson for the people and the opportunity to be surrounded by driven minds every day. In addition to this great opportunity, I also fell in love with the programs Babson had to offer which serve to advance my future.
