Babson Legacy Society
For nearly 25 years, alumni, parents, and friends of Babson College who have generously made testamentary or planned gifts have been honored as members of the Babson Legacy Society.
By establishing a life-income gift arrangement or by including Babson in their estate plans, Babson Legacy Society members are building a lasting legacy at Babson that will ensure excellence in entrepreneurship education for future generations of Babson students.

The Founders Fund was created to provide a philanthropic opportunity to those alumni who have recently created new companies, and who currently may not have the liquidity to make a cash gift. Driven by his commitment to Babson and passion for entrepreneurship, the Founders Fund was established by Timothy DeMello ’81, P’18, and allows donors to contribute a percentage of their future equity position in their business (typically 5 percent) to Babson. At the time of the company’s sale, initial public offering, or other liquidity event, the contribution is transferred to Babson. Depending upon the size of the contribution, it may be applied to a range of current-use or endowed funds at Babson.
For more information about the Founders Fund, please contact
Diana Zais, Vice President of Development, by email or by telephone at 781-239-4382.
