Babson Alumni Green Forum

Babson boasts an increasing alumni presence in energy, environment, and cleantech. This group strives to offer opportunities for Babson alumni to engage in life-long education, sharing of ideas, networking opportunities, and other efforts related to green topics. Green themes include alternative energy, traditional energy, conservation, environment, architecture, etc.

Babson Alumni Technology Council (BATC)

Technology is an amazing thing and it has changed our world.  Some Babson alumni build businesses that use technology as a strategic asset to fuel growth, while other alumni are involved in companies that have developed cutting-edge technology solutions for today’s business. The BATC, founded in 2003 by alumni, produces first-class events and programs to help Babson alumni and the greater Babson community understand and anticipate how technology impacts business. The BATC provides unparalleled exposure to technology leaders and offers outstanding networking opportunities.

Consumer Products and Retail Career Affinity Network

The Consumer Products and Retail Career Affinity Network is dedicated to bringing together Babson alumni,  students, faculty and friends interested in the consumer products or retail industry both personally and professionally.  Past events have included networking opportunities, panel discussions and keynote speakers concentrating on the latest trends affecting these industries.  Various topics from our past collaborative and informative engagements range from: exploring the impact of sustainability on consumer goods packaging; entrepreneurship within the industry; and taking an inside look at the impressive transformation of Lego through innovative brand marketing.

Babson boasts a vast alumni presence in consulting ranging from specific industries to specialized functions. This group strives to create opportunities that deepen the knowledge base of alumni working in the consulting field.

Financial Services Career Affinity Network

With so many of Babson’s alumni working in the financial services industry, including investment management, financial planning, capital management, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, foreign exchange, and banking, the Financial Services CAN, in partnership with the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments & Finance, develops first-class professional education and peer networking events. These forums allow participants to hear from industry leaders and innovators, and to collaborate on program development. Healthcare & Life Sciences Career Affinity Network

A significant number of Babson alumni are active in life science industries, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies, along with service companies such as contract research organizations, venture capital firms, the financial sector, and consulting firms. The Healthcare & Life Sciences CAN also welcomes alumni from the public health arena, such as hospital management, managed care, insurance carriers, and health care providers.

Real Estate Career Affinity Network

The Real Estate CAN is an incredible resource for the Babson community. The group hosts events throughout the academic year that focus on relevant and interesting real estate topics. Past programs provided opportunities to learn about the impact of the web on local residential real estate, the development of Legacy Place, an open-air shopping and entertainment center, and the impact of massive developments in Dubai on world markets.
