Students as Consultants
Babson’s experiential learning programs offer free consulting services to client companies while providing a real world business environment for students.
Student teams learn and demonstrate their professional expertise as they consult on client-related projects with the support of a faculty adviser.
“Students did a great job with a complex issue. Recommendations were relevant and can be implemented relatively quickly and cost effective. Great experience for BP.” Boston Properties, 2009–2010

Management Consulting Field Experience
Babson students are always looking for ways to learn more about an industry, organization, or career path. The Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) offers students the opportunity to gain practical industry experience while working with professionals in the business community. The MCFE program connects Boston-area organizations with talented Babson students who work as consultants to address a current business challenge.
This unique program gives allows students to gain valuable experience while providing your organization with creativity, insights, and results. The student team will spend a semester analyzing your business from the inside out, and collaborate to resolve a specific business problem. At the project’s conclusion, the MCFE team’s findings and recommendations will be presented to your company in a detailed, written report and in an oral presentation.
