The Bernon Center for Public Service
The Bernon Center coordinates volunteer and community service activities with various local and national community service agencies. If offers one time and ongoing volunteer opportunities for Babson students, staff, and alumni. Last year Babson provided over 21,000 hours of service. Our mission is to graduate socially responsible and civically engaged individuals who understand their role as trained entrepreneurs to not only give back to the community, but also use their competencies to look at global social justice issues and seek innovation.
The Giving Voice to Values Program
The Giving Voice to Values (GVV) program is pioneering scripting and action-oriented approach to values-driven leadership that has been featured in New York Times, Financial Times and Harvard Business Review, and is being piloted in over 100 business schools and organizations globally. GVV focuses on developing the skills and confidence that enables individuals to speak up about their values and take effective action. Companies may partner with GVV in a variety of ways, including executive offerings and sponsoring such things as faculty development, student programming, curriculum development and case competitions.
