Babson's Unique Curriculum
Integrated, Cross-disciplinary Programs
With Entrepreneurial Thought and Action® at the core of its curriculum, Babson students learn from integrated cross-disciplinary graduate, undergraduate, and executive education programs. All
these take an action-learning approach. At Babson, students are inspired to think analytically and creatively through personalized experiential learning so they are ready to hit the ground running when they start their careers. Here are just a few reflections on what helps prepare them:
In their first year, Babson undergraduates take a business or organization from concept to operation and finally to liquidation during the Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship (FME) course.
All Two-Year MBA students work in teams to consult with local businesses about real business problems during Babson’s Consulting Alliance Program (BCAP).
Both MBA and undergraduate students have an opportunity to participate in a Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE), where, through a semester-long project, students analyze an issue and make recommendations to operating businesses about specific topic areas including finance, marketing, operations, and more.
All undergraduate students participate in a four-stage career planning process: Explore. Discover. Connect. Achieve. This allows them to choose and prepare for the right career path.
