With a national sample of 112 entrepreneurial companies we examined three levels of these organizations: (1) President/CEO, (2) Management Team (CEOs Direct Reports), and (3) Organizational Culture. Results showed a number of significant positive relationships between CEO behavior, management team performance, organizational culture and company financial performance. Companies with higher levels of profit, sales and return on investment had CEOs showing higher levels of both frequency and quality of leadership/management behaviors. This was also true for the frequency of behaviors in their corresponding management teams and in the overall culture of their organizations.
