Carolynn Benson trains and consults with Ouellette & Associates' Fortune 1, 000 clients across North America. Her work spans numerous industries including financial services, insurance, county government, and utilities.

Carolynn brings more than 20 years of knowledge acquired in all aspects of training, course development, and program and project management. Her strengths include helping clients build a more consultative, client-focused culture. She has extensive experience in the areas of internal consulting, customer service, negotiating, presentation skills, corporate politics, and marketing.

Carolynn states that in order for IT staffs to be able to influence their companies' growth, they need to become strategic business partners. "It all comes down to the ability to build relationships with clients and to understand clients' business problems." She emphasizes that, "no other employees are better poised to give a company a competitive edge than IT professionals, but many are held back from full participation because they are not seen as business partners."

Carolynn worked for 17 years in high tech in a number of management, consulting, and sales and marketing capacities. her previous clients include AMD, Bayer, Boston Financial, Fidelity Investments, Kaiser Permanente, Federal Reserve Bank, MassMutual Financial Group, Pfizer, Safeway and The Boeing  Company.
