​Mohammed Elghoul is working on his PhD at the University of Massachusetts and is making plans for conducting his dissertation field research with a focus on children's involvement in Islamic movements.  He grew up in the Detroit metro area and has lived in New York and Baltimore before moving to Massachusetts.
