Kathleen Kelly teaches the Arts and Humanities Foundation course and courses in literature at the intermediate and advanced levels. At Babson College she has served as Chair of the Arts and Humanities Division, Director of Writing for the MBA Programs, Writing Program Coordinator, and Writing Center Director. In 2007 she was awarded the Carpenter Prize for Exceptional Contributions to Babson College. She is excited to be incorporating the Reacting to the Past pedagogy into a new, advanced level elective: Coming of Age with the French Revolution.

Professor Kelly teaches and publishes in both literary studies and the theory and pedagogy of writing.  She has published articles on the poetry of John Donne and Andrew Marvel, Bakhtin’s theory of genres, Brecht’s Good Woman of Setzuan, and the novels of Julian Barnes.  She is a co-author with Janis Forman of The Random House Guide to Business Writing.
