Masters of Science in Accounting Program
The F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business delivers a Master of Science in Accounting, leveraging the expertise and recognition of faculty and curriculum from our Master of Business Administration program.
More than simply meeting the CPA requirements, the program prepares graduates for public accounting careers in a dynamic and global profession. Graduates gain technical accounting knowledge while also developing skills immediately applicable to their career—written and oral communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, ethics and professional responsibilities, and global and multicultural issues.
The integrated curriculum is a 30-credit master’s program with all courses required to be taken at Babson. Students are enrolled full time during the summer and participate in an 18-credit core. Electives are the remaining 12 credits, and can be taken at a student’s pace. All students must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business. Prerequisite accounting courses include, Intermediate Accounting 1 & 2, Auditing, Advanced Accounting, and U.S. Federal Taxation (For international students, the Tax course must have focused on Taxes in the United States).
