Certificate in Advanced Management

The program offers participants the opportunity to broaden their professional development and strengthen their areas of business expertise.

Participants have access to an experienced management faculty, a diverse student body, small classes, and modern academic resources. The faculty maintains a strong commitment to teaching while keeping abreast of current industry practices through their consulting, entrepreneurial ventures, and research.

The Certificate in Advanced Management program encourages its participants to be innovative, to experiment with business ventures, and to become involved in professional activities. To this end, Babson offers a close association with the business community and nonprofit organizations.

Curriculum

Certificate in Advanced Management

This is the most “general” curriculum, as there are no required courses for the certificate—candidates only need to complete 15 credits of MBA elective courses. Students can choose the topics that interest them, allowing for a broad range of coursework or a tightly focused learning experience.

Please see Babson’s Course Listing Application for a complete list of courses offered.

Entrepreneurship Certificate Program

The Entrepreneurship Division currently offers its Practitioner Track for students working towards the Certificate in Advanced Management. Students in this track are particularly interested in the practical application of entrepreneurship.
