MBA Class Profile

OUR STUDENTS

The student population of the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business reflects the global landscape as it is today – diverse, respectful of international perspective, fast-paced and forward thinking. These students are pursuing their MBA with varying focuses - switching careers, advancing careers, refining organizational impact in the near term and being poised for continued growth with their employer in the long term.

Our students are doctors, U.S. Marines, former NFL players, concert pianists, serial entrepreneurs, financial analysts and marketing executives to name a few. But as varied as their motivators and backgrounds, their desire to be entrepreneurial leaders is the common thread. Our student’s ability to reflect on their individual backgrounds and pair that with the business knowledge foundation they gain at Babson is precisely why a Babson MBA graduate is regarded so highly by organizations worldwide. Companies such as Fidelity Investments, Athena Healthcare, IBM, Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and many others count on Babson for top talent who make an impact from day one.

A DIVERSE POPULATION

Babson is committed to a diverse, multicultural and inclusive community and today, our Graduate student body reflects 28% women, 21% international and 17% minority. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the international reach that Babson reflects but in the fact that eighteen different languages are spoken among the Graduate student population and the global reach of our alumni community of 30,000 people in 100 countries and 50 U.S. States.
