Corporate Sponsor Information
Each year Babson MBA students work on 40-50 MCFE projects spread over the fall, spring, and summer sessions. The experiential learning client focus provides applied learning opportunities that result in three core benefits for client sponsors: actions, innovations, and development.
- Actions refer to the results each project provides. Recommendations and re both timely and practical in that each project provides specific recommendations or solutions and is completed within a 12 week semester.
- Innovation refers to projects that are more exploratory and contribute to the planning and future decisions of a client sponsor.
- Development can be both personal and professional as all participants gain valuable experience in project that creates industry and professional knowledge.
Client sponsors evaluate the projects each semester and consistently over 95% report that they are satisfied with the work quality of the students and 90% confirm that the project deliverables impacted the decision making of the company.
These core tenets of experiential learning — action, innovation, and development create unique benefits for Babson corporate sponsors and the project teams. Because of our thirty year history we can confidently claim that these learning opportunities are tested and proven to be of value to students, faculty, and client sponsors.
