What are the application deadlines?
The MBA application timetable lists the admission and financial aid application deadlines for the current year.
Why are there several deadlines for each program?
Our admissions decision process involves more than one round of decisions, each associated with an application deadline and notification date. In general, we recommend applying as early as possible.
What is offered at the Boston and San Francisco campuses?
Wellesley, MA continues to be the main campus, however our presence in Boston and San Francisco provides increased flexibility and opportunity to attend and experience the Babson MBA program. The San Francisco campus currently hosts Fast Track students for face-to-face sessions. The Boston campus currently hosts Evening MBA core courses in the evenings, as well as MBA electives in the evenings and on weekends.
If I am an international student, can I apply after the recommended deadline?
Yes, but we encourage international students to apply early in order to allow time for immigration, financing, and relocation.
Can I receive Advanced Standing for a professional exam I have passed?
Students who have passed the CPA, CFA, or CMA exam will be given Advanced Standing credit for specific core courses in the Evening program. Advanced Standing is not given for the One-Year, Two-Year, and Fast Track programs. A copy of the exam results must be submitted. An accepted Evening student will receive a Course Planning Chart which will reflect Advanced Standing credits.
What is the process for Advanced Standing/Waiver of Course for past coursework?
Evening students with academic or work experience in the specific subject matter covered in a core course may ask to take a waiver exam to demonstrate proficiency. Advanced Standing credit may be awarded for courses substantially similar in content and credit hours to Babson graduate courses that were completed as part of a degree earned within five years prior to entering the MBA program. Eligible courses must have been taken at an accredited U.S. college or university or in a comparable international program. An Admissions Director can provide additional information. An accepted Evening student will receive a Course Planning Chart which will reflect Advanced Standing credits.
How can I apply for a scholarship? What are my chances of being awarded one?
Information about how to apply for scholarships and fellowships can be found with Tuition and Financing options. All applicants are considered for scholarships based on merit. We do not offer any need-based scholarships. There is no way for us to predict the likelihood of your receiving a scholarship until we thoroughly review your application.
