MBA Programs Application Process

A completed application includes the following items:

  • Undergraduate degree and official transcript from an accredited college or university that is equivalent to a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree. Official transcripts must be either hard copies or sent to Babson directly from the institution; we cannot accept scanned or uploaded transcripts. (If you question whether your degree is equivalent, the Graduate Admissions Office can refer you to a transcript evaluation agency.)
  • GMAT or GRE scores sent directly from the testing service. GMAT scores are not required for most applicants to the Fast Track MBA Program. The admissions committee may determine that a GMAT score is needed if the initial review of application materials (including transcripts from all academic institutions attended) reveals specific areas of concern or question.
  • Two letters of professional recommendation
  • Résumé or curriculum vitae
  • Completed application with essays
  • Application fee of $100

Candidates whose native language is not English and who have not earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a U.S., U.K., Canadian, Australian, or New Zealand institution also must submit the following:

  • TOEFL iBT or IELTS test scores
  • Official English translations of all required academic documents

TOEFL iBT or IELTS test scores are not required for applicants to the Fast Track MBA program. Application materials are reviewed thoroughly for evidence of writing and communication skills, initiative, maturity, and creativity. Extracurricular activities, as well as professional and community involvement, also are considered by the admissions committee.

Please note: You should keep a copy of all materials you submit to us, since we cannot return or copy any part of your application. We also cannot return original transcripts.

Interviews

Interviews are part of the official application process. They are by invitation only and are scheduled by the Graduate Admissions Office. Please ensure that you are fully prepared for your evaluative admissions interview. Please do not contact our office to schedule your interview—we will contact you directly if an interview is necessary. Interviews are not required for applicants to the Fast Track MBA program.

Re-application

Candidates who have applied to Babson in the past should contact the Graduate Admissions Office for re-application instructions.

International Fast Track Applicants

Babson College provides student immigration documents for students who are enrolled in a full-time program. The Fast Track program is considered to be a part-time program. International applicants who are currently in non-immigrant status (H-1B, B-1/B-2, L, TN, etc.), or who are currently outside of the U.S. seeking entry to attend the Fast Track program, are not eligible for F-1 student status. International applicants may be able to attend the Fast Track program in another non-immigrant status depending on the status and the situation.
