Certificate in Advanced Management Program
The Certificate in Advanced Management program is for students who have earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or an equivalent business-related graduate degree (which includes a background of business core courses), and are looking for additional learning opportunities to enhance their professional development. Participants have access to an experienced management faculty, a diverse student body, small classes, and modern academic resources.
There are no required courses for the certificate—students need to successfully complete 15 credits of MBA elective courses, and maintain a minimum grade point average of B (3.00). Students may choose the topics that interest them, allowing for a broad range of coursework or a tightly focused learning experience. Please see Babson’s Course Listing for a complete list of courses offered. Students are expected to complete all requirements for the certificate within a three-calendar-year period from the date of the initial enrollment in the program.
Both day and evening classes are available to certificate participants. Day classes generally meet twice a week—each class meeting for 75 minutes. Evening classes meet once a week, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30–9:30 p.m. The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business also offers two accelerated summer sessions with evening classes that meet twice a week.
