Fast Track MBA Program
The Fast Track program provides the opportunity to take advantage of the Babson MBA curriculum—the same curriculum across all program delivery models—through a unique blended-learning approach. You’ll earn your MBA in 21 months, without having to give up your job.
How do we define BLENDED LEARNING?
The delivery of the curriculum through a blend of Web-based learning, virtual collaboration, and face-to-face sessions. This delivery model allows you to make the most of your time, your learning, your network, and your investment.
Fast Track program cohorts—groups of students that form a tight-knit team throughout the program— begin in March and September. Given the structure of the program, you may participate in virtual sessions and online collaboration from all around the world, and easily attend face-to-face sessions from across the country. Face-to-face sessions are available at two campus locations, Wellesley and San Francisco.
Program Managers assist you to ensure your course registration aligns with your cohort. Face-to-face sessions occur approximately every seven weeks (Thursday afternoon–Saturday during the core curriculum; Friday–Saturday during electives and capstone). Online learning averages 20 hours per week, and reflects readings, case preparation, contributing to asynchronous and real-time discussions, and active participation in team-based exercises and projects. The Web-based elements are delivered via state-of-the-art distance learning tools.
The curriculum is delivered through five main experiences:
Residency Weeks: Two sessions, four to five days each, occur at the beginning and in the middle of the program on the Wellesley campus (students from both locations are required to attend these residencies)
Core: Courses that are consistent across all program delivery formats
Signature Learning Experiences: Simulations, action-learning projects, and self-reflection
Electives: Courses across various disciplines as well as nontraditional electives, including consulting projects, independent research, and more.
Capstone: Work-related or company-sponsored real-world application of MBA knowledge
