Interviewing
After students have been through the career assessment and self-branding process and have successfully identified opportunities for which they are interviewing, Relationship Managers work closely with students on their interviewing skills to ensure they are prepared to compete effectively in the market. In addition to classroom style interview workshops, additional resources to enhance students’ interview skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Mastering the Interview On Demand Workshop

This workshop goes over some of the finer points of interviewing and gives you tips that you can use to effectively prepare for your interview.
  • Case Interviewing Workshops

Held throughout the year, these small group sessions give students the opportunity to learn and master the case style interview. Traditionally used in the consulting industry, case interviewing has become more widely adopted by a variety of recruiters and hiring managers. CCD has handbooks and other resources that also can help students prepare for a case interview.
  • Mock Interviews with Alumni and Friends of Babson

CCD organizes mock interview events where students are paired up with an alumnus or alumnae, or friend of Babson, to practice their behavioral interviewing skills and receive real-time feedback.
  • Individual Mock Interviews with a Relationship Manager

Students are encouraged to prepare for upcoming interviews by scheduling a mock interview with one of the Relationship Managers. The format of these interviews simulates an MBA level interview and Relationship Managers provide candid and helpful real-time feedback to students.
