Student Run Forums and Case Competitions

Babson graduate students plan and execute a number of large-scale events that attract Babson students, students from other higher education institutions, industry experts, and national and international corporations.

These events are spearheaded by students, who partner and collaborate with College-wide offices, allowing students to put their entrepreneurial thought into action.  Examples include but are not limited to:

Forum on Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Babson Forum on Entrepreneurship and Innovation highlights Babson's reputation of global leadership in Entrepreneurship through panel sessions, business competitions and various guest speakers.

The Babson Energy & Environmental Conference
Hosted by The Babson Energy and Environmental club, The Babson Energy and Environmental Conference provides a forum for leading professionals and companies to discuss how clean energy innovation will drive a new era of energy, economics & policy.

Latin America Forum
Hosted by the Latin America Club, this forum focuses on entrepreneurial opportunities in Latin America, highlighting both the expansion of local businesses into the global arena as well as ventures from international corporations inside the region.

Marketing Case Competition
Hosted by the Babson Marketing Club, Babson’s annual Marketing Case Competition provides students with the opportunity to win $5000 in total prizes and to apply entrepreneurial thinking to solve current marketing challenges faced by the event’s sponsoring company.

Healthcare and Life Sciences Forum
Hosted by the Healthcare and Life Sciences Club, the annual industry forum represents diverse set of sectors, from suppliers (pharmaceuticals, biotech and medical devices) to healthcare delivery and services, as well as a broad range of functions, from marketing to business development to investors.

Consulting Case Competition
Hosted by the Consulting Club, the Babson Consulting Case Competition provides students with the opportunity to work on a current business issue, present to and get feedback from consultants and Babson professors.

Babson Asia Entrepreneurship Forum
The Babson Asia Entrepreneurship Forum is an annual event hosted by the Babson Asian Business Club (BABC) at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. This is a rare opportunity to witness the meeting between  the emerging Asian businesses and the entrepreneurial spirits of the Babson MBA, having been ranked #1 for Entrepreneurship by U.S. News and World Report for 18 consecutive years.
