New Students

Welcome to Babson!

As you prepare to embark on a rigorous curriculum, build life-long friendships, and work towards accomplishing all the goals you have set for yourself; you can feel comfortable knowing that after many long days and nights, you have a safe and welcoming community to which you can rely on.

The Residence Life team is here to help build community amongst all residents of Woodland Hill—spouses/partners and children included! We are also here to help you with your transition into your campus residences; Woodland Hill or Woodside.

On the scheduled day of your arrival on Babson campus, a Resident Assistant will be available in Residence Life (located in the Reynolds Campus Center, suite 211) to take you up to your new home. Sometimes it’s hard finding your way around campus the first time….so just let us know! Upon meeting, we will provide you with your apartment keys, let you know how to get a One Card, and any other information you need to check in. You will be receiving more information in the coming weeks prior to your arrival on campus so stay tuned.

In addition, we have scheduled several trips for you, your family, and other grads living on campus around the area so you can become familiar with your surroundings and do some shopping for items you will need. We will provide a schedule when you arrive to campus for when these trips will take place.

The Babson community is very international and diverse; we have the advantage of having neighbors who represent many different nations and cultures. So don’t worry you will feel home! We each have so much to share! We are looking forward to planning many social events so we have the opportunity to do just that. We are very excited and looking forward to meeting you and wish you a safe and pleasant journey home to Babson!

Sincerely,

Arnold Wandji Tchegne-Perry,
Graduate Resident Director & Two Year MBA student
