A Home on Campus
Jeremy Hill ’04 and his wife, Emily
Ask Jeremy Hill ’04 what he did on his recent honeymoon with his wife, Emily, and you’ll get a list of adventures: “We went golfing, parasailing, snorkeling, and zip lining, and even swam with dolphins.”
Hill says his passion for trying new things and leading an active life started at Babson. As a resident assistant for first-year students, he honed his leadership skills and helped new students adjust to campus life. He studied abroad in Australia during his junior year and completed more than 40 dives on the Great Barrier Reef. He formed strong friendships with fellow Babson Players and participated in the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program (CLTP), where he learned to develop his own talents and those of others.
These activities enhanced Hill’s classroom learning to create a memorable Babson experience. Each year, he supports Babson programs that had an impact on him—from CLTP to the Babson Players to general support through The Fund for Babson—to help students realize that there is no limit to what they can do. “Babson has always been a home to me,” Hill says, “and I like to think I’m helping to make it a home for others, too.” Not to mention, an adventure!
