“We are pleased to be recognized by
Financial Times for the career value we provide our students,” said
Mark Potter, Associate Dean of Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. “Whether they go on to launch a new venture, return to a family business, or instill Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® within existing organizations, we are proud to know our students use their Babson education to create economic and social value in whatever they pursue.”
According to the ranking, the average Babson full-time MBA alumnus salary three years after graduation is $131,627.
This ranking features the world’s best 100 full-time MBA programs. A total of 155 schools took part in the 2018 edition. All participating schools meet Financial Times’ entry criteria, including being accredited by Equis or the AACSB.
Financial Times surveys alumni three years after completing their MBA. For schools to enter the ranking calculations, Financial Times requires that a minimum of 20 percent of alumni reply to the survey, with at least 20 fully completed responses. About 8,300 from the class of 2014 completed our survey — a response rate of 38 percent.
The ranking has 20 criteria. Alumni responses inform eight criteria that together contribute 59 percent of its weight. Eleven criteria are calculated from school data, accounting for 31 percent of the ranking. The remaining criterion, the research rank, counts for 10 percent.
