The Curriculum Innovation and Technology Group (CITG) is the R&D and innovation arm of technology-enhanced learning at Babson. CITG focuses on researching emerging trends and implementing innovative solutions that promote exceptional teaching and learning experiences.

Specifically, CITG helps to:

  • collaborate and serve as senior resources on:
    • the design and development of technology-enhanced content and course
    • multimedia presentations, assets and simulations
    • filming and post-producing videos
    • virtual classes and webinars;
  • create new multimedia solutions
  • research learning trends to continuously improve the learning experience
  • support and manage the collaboration to select, implement and support elearning tools
  • implement and manage pilots
  • design new distance/elearning tech classrooms

CITG, which is made up of the Instructional Design team, the Babson Incubator for Learning and Technology (BILT), Media and Production Services (MAPS), and the Research Librarians, work in collaboration to turn these innovations into core programs. All four sections of CITG work directly with faculty to produce and deliver the day–to-day programs, create media rich content, and understand the needs of faculty and students specifically offering curriculum-based technology consulting, thought leadership, and support services.
